Bachelor of Design in Architecture

Prepare for a Career in Architecture

UCF’s College of Arts and Humanities brings you a new program from its school of Visual Arts and Design-the Bachelor of Design in Architecture degree. In this new program, you can earn the credentials you need to become a design professional, or begin preparing for a career as an architect, without leaving Central Florida. Once you’ve completed Valencia’s architecture pre-major, you can pursue your bachelor’s degree from UCF at Valencia’s West Campus.

Hands-on Learning

UCF has numerous opportunities for students to enhance their educational experience including cooperative learning and internships service learning, which provide a direct connection between the classroom and the workplace. The Bachelor of Design in Architecture program is also unique in its approach to hands-on education, building on UCF’s strengths through:

> Center for Emerging Media

UF‘s Citylab Orlando is housed at UCF‘s Center for Emerging Media (CEM). Students gain access to a downtown location, which will provide convenience for partnerships with the community.

> Institute for Simulation and Training (IST)

UCF’s national prominence in modeling and simulation and computer visualization gives students the opportunity to develop a unique skill set.
